Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
This policy explains what Weekdays Off collects when you use the website and app at weekdaysoff.com and the Weekdays Off Discord server and bot, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: your music stays on your device, we keep only what's needed to run your account, and we don't sell anything about you.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, which you use to sign in with a one-time code, and any profile name you choose.
- Usage limits: how many videos you've exported today, so we can apply the daily export limit.
- Saved projects: when you save a scene or project to your account, we store its settings, along with any images or textures you added to it, so you can open it again on another device.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting and database providers receive your IP address and browser details when you connect. We use these only to keep the service running and secure.
What stays on your device
Your audio is never uploaded. Tracks you add, the visuals, and the videos you export are processed and saved in your browser. The app also uses your browser's local storage to remember your settings, recent audio session and cookie choices. Clearing your browser data removes these.
If you use live audio input or send visuals to other screens, your browser asks for permission first. That audio and video never leaves your device.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and the app working. We don't currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, they will stay off unless you turn them on in the cookie settings.
Discord server and bot
If you join our Discord server, Discord's own privacy policy covers your Discord account and messages. Our bot, WeekdaysOffBot, helps keep the server safe. It doesn't read your messages, DM you, or link your Discord account to your Weekdays Off account. We keep its moderation logs for as long as the server needs them to deal with abuse. It records the following in a private channel only our moderators can read:
- your Discord username and user ID when you join or leave, and how old your Discord account is
- role changes, bans, kicks, timeouts and other moderation actions involving you
- Discord's AutoMod alerts if a message of yours is blocked
How we use it
- to sign you in and run your account
- to apply export limits and keep the service fair
- to fix bugs and answer you when you contact us or report a problem
- to keep the website and Discord server safe from spam and abuse
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run Weekdays Off for us: Supabase (accounts, sign-in emails and saved projects), our website host, and Discord (for the server and bot). They process data on our behalf and only to provide their service. If we ever add paid plans, payments will be handled by a payment provider such as Stripe, and we won't see or store your card details. We'll disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and saved projects until you delete them or your account. When you delete your account from the Account page, your profile and saved projects are deleted. Copies in backups are deleted on the provider's normal backup schedule.
Your choices and rights
You can view and change your details on the Account page, delete saved projects, or delete your whole account at any time. You can also email support@weekdaysoff.com to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights under data protection law, including the right to complain to your local regulator.
Children
Weekdays Off isn't meant for children under 13, and Discord requires its users to be at least 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes we'll also post in the Discord server's #announcements channel or tell you when you sign in.
